We look innocent, but I'm secretly whispering what I want the cat to knock down to the floor for me to eat, and negotiating how many minutes I have to play chase with him for his services.

Jake came to play again

While his Mom went to Boston, Jake stayed with us. He loves the cat, and even likes to play with the cat's toy. We had a fun time. Mom is going to Las Vegas for work next week, so aunt Rebecca will take care of Daisuki and me then. More fun with Jake! There's a new dog in the building named Bella. She likes me:)

Left while Mom vacationed

Okay, it wasn't so awful, Aunt Rebecca took care of me... The cat and I are glad Mom is back, and we guess its okay since she went to see Grandma, Uncle Paul, and our favorite little cousins Tristan, Nico, and M'Kenzie. (We love Damian and Chelsea too, but Mom missed seeing them). Mom had a great time, although I think she was a little tired from hanging with M'K. I can't wait for an October visit from Nico, M'K, and Grandma! We do worry that we might be outcuted by cousins!

Fashion Check!

Mom's anime obsession has enlightened me to the phrase "fashion Check". Often in an anime the characters will discuss a particular point of fashion whether it be school uniforms, hair fasteners, cell phone straps, etc. I'm modeling my "frat boy" outfit. My point is if I can dress in a proper fashion, why do people who live in our very expensive rent building walk around in their boyfriends sweats so low on their hips that I can tell you who waxes? Mom went on the subway yesterday, and she told me about a couple getting off at our metro stop where the woman (not girl, woman) was wearing her male appendages shorts with belt - God forbid she used the belt, because the shorts were so low on her hips you could a sizeable portion of her thong underwear since she was wearing the requisite shirt too small to cover her belly button. People, please! Be glad I don't have your mother's phone number. That is all.

Adorable Me

Here I am on my first day in the family with Grandpa Jerome. Mom and Grandpa had to drive from Baton Rouge to New Orleans to get me. It was a hot day, and everyone was cranky until they saw my adorableness....I still have that effect on people:)

The Green-Eyed Cat

My friend Chloe has gone to heaven to be with Grandpa Jerome. She always kept him company and usually slept with him to keep watch over him. I'll miss her.... Believe it or not, she was a solid black kitten named Tar who turned in a beautiful tortoiseshell with a sweet disposition. She even tolerated me!

Auntie Rebecca convinced me to sit still for some grooming. Afterwards, Jake, who Rebecca belongs too, and I used Mom for a pillow. Jake and I have a really tough life..

Le Chevalier d'Eon

Mother is back in Japanese animation mode and has been watching a new show about a knight in pre-Revolutionary France whose sister is murdered. I think its very cool, because Chevalier is related to Cavalier...This anime was done by the same studio that did Ghost in the Shell, and like that anime, has lots of quotes from the Bible. If I know Mom, we'll be watching Ghost in the Shell again.

The Cat came Back

Daisuki spent the night at Union Vet Clinic Thursday night. Even though Mom is a veterinarian, she doesn't work in a practice, but she really likes the doctors at Union Vet. They take great care of me (most important) and of the cat. It was nice to get a good nights sleep for once, but I'm glad he's back to keep me entertained.
